130 Land Rover Defender

Young photographer Winston Brinsely from New Zealand joins us again on the Sunday Garage and treats us to some images of his families collection of Land Rovers. Previously it was his Land Rover Series 1. This time its a 2003 Land Rover Defender 130.

Winston explains the 130 was bought for all the adventures him and his mates get up to on the weekends. The 130 is mainly used to lug mountain bikes in the summer time and snowboards in the winter. Other than some all terrain tyres and a performance chip to help with the sluggish 2.5L turbo diesel, Winston has chosen to keep it stock no frills. On the odd occasion you can find Winston down in the south island of New Zealand keeping warm in his rooftop tent.
